My Story
Hi, I’m Shereze George, founder of The VA and an Executive Virtual Assistant with more than a decade of administrative experience. My career started in retail, where I got my first taste of the behind-the-scenes work that keeps a business moving. I handled schedules, helped with stock management, and supported daily operations long before I understood how much that exposure would shape my future.
Since then, I’ve worked in tech startups, nonprofits, education, agencies, medical offices, and mental health organizations, and somehow, the administrative work always found me. I’ve supported leadership, managed operations, built structure, and improved workflows across every environment I stepped into. It’s the lane I naturally fit in and the part of business I enjoy the most.
If you grew up Caribbean, you already know the unofficial life plan our parents set- medicine, law, or engineering. I chose my own path instead and pursued Business Administration, a field that aligned with my strengths and the work I kept gravitating to. Over time, I taught myself content creation, editing, social media management, and digital systems, blending creativity with structure. That combination shaped The VA into what it is today.
My passion is supporting busy entrepreneurs who are overwhelmed by the never-ending to-do list that comes with running a business. I help them stay organised, visible online, and free to focus on the work that brings in revenue, not the work that drains their time.
Outside of work, I enjoy music of any genre (if it’s a vibe, it’s a vibe), reading manga and fiction, and catching up on my favorite series. I like a calm atmosphere, good humour, and a work style that feels productive without feeling stiff. I bring that same energy into every client relationship. Yes, we’re here to get things done, but we can enjoy the process too.
